About Bridgeford Oaks
Welcome to the Bridgeford Oaks Community. We are excited to have you join our neighborhood and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. The legal name for your neighborhood is “Bridgeford Oaks Homeowner Association”. The neighborhood consists of 140 single family homes. The community was originally founded and built by Morrison Homes in the early 2000’s.
Bridgeford Oaks Homeowner Association is registered in the State of Florida as a non-profit corporation Homeowners Association (HOA). The HOA is charged with maintaining the common areas and enforcing the rules and regulations found within the corporate bylaws, Statement of Commitment, Declarations and Covenants which are generally referred to as “Deed Restrictions”. Deed restrictions are rules that run with the land, which means that every lot in Bridgeford Oaks has attached to it a set of documents that limits how the land can be used and what type of activities are allowable. As a lot owner you are now bound by these rules and regulations and are required to pay the quarterly dues. The fact that you are now part of a deed restricted community would have been disclosed with you at your closing.
Deed restricted communities provide the means through which each owner can have a reasonable expectation of quiet enjoyment of their home and community as well as a better than average chance of realizing stable property values through enforcement of rules regarding home and lot maintenance. The good news is that it is a well-known fact that homes sell for higher value when surrounded by other homes that are well maintained.
